The Groom Shop PDX is a Southwest Portland boutique salon owned by Albert, established in 1996. Albert started in veterinary technician work in 1988 before specializing in grooming, with a niche reputation as a “dog whisperer” for anxious, fearful, and aggressive dogs.

Services

Appointment-only grooming for all breeds. Services include:

• Bath & Brush-Out
• Bath & Cut (breed-specific styling)
• Nail trimming (specialty handling for nail-trim-resistant dogs)
• Ear cleaning

Experience

Operates Tuesday-Saturday 8 AM-5 PM, closed Sun-Mon. Suited for owners of behavioral-challenge dogs who get refused or rushed at chain salons. Patient, paced sessions over fast turnover.
